Recording studios charge by the hour.Theres usually local ones that will do the trick but it still cost money. For a remake I believe you have to get permission if you intend on selling it but i think if you just make it for a demo or something ut doesnt matter. Finally any average person can record a song provided they can pay studio time producing time studio musician time etc...I think theres a lot of average joes out there on the radio as we speak ...Had to throw that in

There are people who crunch numbers in the film industry, and they are "the others" to us creative types. (they're called suits, sorry, but it's usually derogatory)

They do have masters, accounting, or sometimes general humanities degrees. Film (and TV) needs accountants, and if you go into advertising, there are plenty of business degree types.

Another possible route it could take you down is that of being an agent.

Film is all about connections though, even in "suits" that your degree would make you more likely amongst. You need to be out there, talking to people face to face.

Usually you need a sample of your work, some experience, or else you start on the bottom (extras, mail room, gophers).

The only film job where you absolutely need a degree is Entertainment lawyer. (and for that, you go to a law school that has specialists in Entertainment Law)

I'm not too sure, if you know a recording studio that's near you, ask them about what you want to do and if you can do it or if you can't you can buy a recording studio for yourself, it might not be the best, but it should give you enough to live with

Business savvy. Depends what kind you practice or are a mere academician. If your merits and scruples are of interest and of value to you to the point of maintaining them, there could be an offer of a job. Rock bottom? Like any business. Start small. Be independent. Just like warfare, small flexible, supported units weather things better than monstrous caravans.

There's no one "best". And not many will sell you stand alone general liability, on THAT type of package.

You need to buy it through an agency licensed to sell insurance in your state. Post the state, and I can give you a couple of referrals.

**In CA, you probably want to try Media Professionals, www.mediaprof.com or Dewitt Stern Agency, www.dewittstern.com**
